What is the difference between edge and stable servers

Hostdeko is often innovating it's hosting platform. Therefore we have different servers.

Edge servers:

Edge servers offer the latest technologies, speeds and features.

New technologies will first be tested on our test servers. After testing we will apply them to edge servers first. Although we test thouroughly it can happen that some issues appear that we did not anticipiate or encounter during testing. Edge servers can be rebooted multiple times per week, of course we try to do this outside of working hours.

Stable servers:

Stable servers use technologies that have been proven on edge and test servers. They usually require less maintenance.

Server overview:

  • Cloud: stable
  • Pro: stable
  • Power: edge
