How to visit your website before it resolves

It is possible to visit your website before it actually resolves to the Hostdeko servers.

Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 instructions
  1. Install free software Notepad ++
  2. Browse to C:/Windows/windows32/system/drivers/etc/
  3. Open the "hosts" file with Notepad ++ (right mouse>edit with Notepad++)
  4. Add a new rule*
  5. Save (with administrator privilidges)

How to create the rule

First find the ip of your server, you will find it in your welcome mail. In this example the server is Pro1 with ip The Domain is This will require the following rule
