What will be different?
Websites
Your websites is unaffected.
Inloggen op DirectAdmin
Are you logging in through MyHostdeko? If so then no changes are required. If you log in manually though the browser you will be redirected to https://cloud1.hostdeko.com:2222.
If you are using your domains's email then you will need to adjust your settings in Outlook, iOS and/or Android. Simply replace the word node1 with cloud1 in your configuration settings.
FTP
If you use FTP to upload files then you will need to change the address node1.hostdeko.com to cloud1.hostdeko.com .
Reason
With the introduction of our Pro plans in March we introduced a new server type named Pro. After a while it became apparent that the difference between these two platforms were not immediately clear. To solve this issue we have changed our naming strategy. From now on we will refer to either Pro or Cloud servers. Fast SSD Hosting (Cloud) and Webdesign Reseller Cloud plans are hosted on cloud servers, our business Pro plans are hosted on Pro servers. The old brand "node" will no longer be used by these plans.
